KX1000 PRODUCT GUIDE

What Is KX1000 Kick Architect?

KX1000 is Dystant Sounds’ kick-construction system. It builds original kick drums by combining separate Transient, Body, and Sub sources, then shaping them with controls such as Length, Fade, Punch, Impact, Depth, Tone, Drive, Offset, Low-End Key, and Key Match.

Practical starting point
  1. Choose a starting direction or use Dyscover.
  2. Choose the Transient, Body, and Sub sources that fit the track.
  3. Balance the three source roles.
  4. Set Length and Fade so the tail ends naturally.
  5. Use Punch, Impact, Depth, Tone, and Drive to finish the character.
