Why Does My Kick Sound Different After Export?
A kick usually sounds different after export because you are no longer hearing the same playback path. The exported file may pass through master limiting, normalization, sample-rate conversion, lossy encoding, mono playback, or a different volume control. Import the exported file back into the same DAW session, align it, and compare at the same level before changing the kick.
