What Is the Roland TR-1000 Rhythm Creator?
The Roland TR-1000 is a modern hardware rhythm instrument that combines a 16-voice analog engine based on selected TR-808 and TR-909 sounds with ACB models, FM, PCM, virtual analog synthesis, sampling, deep sequencing and performance control. It is not simply a reissued 808 or 909. Its purpose is to place several sound-generation methods inside one expandable rhythm workflow.

Which classic bass drums are included?
Roland documents 10 analog voices derived from the TR-808 and six from the TR-909. Both groups include a Bass Drum. The remaining analog voices cover snares, toms, rims, claps and selected cymbal-family sounds. The 808 and 909 kicks therefore exist as two starting architectures inside a much larger instrument.

How the TR-1000 extends the kick decision
- Generator: choose analog, modeled, FM, PCM, virtual analog or a sample.
